Meet Richard (Rick)
Hello, My name is Richard Salk and my business is called “Take me out”. I am a dog walker and pet sitter. I first started working with dogs and cats in the 1990’s. I subsequently enrolled in the US Coast guard followed by a 38 year job in the postal service. During this time, I volunteered at the Warwick Animal Shelter for many years because of my love for animals.Upon my retirement I wanted to do something I loved to do that was fulfilling and rewarding with fun mixed in.
There is nothing that makes my day brighter then when your pet greets me with tail wags and licks.

Need a dog walker?
I am the sole proprietor so I am the only person to walk your dog. I try to keep my prices affordable and that is somewhat hard with the cost of living today.
I offer daily walks, weekly walks or whatever you and your pet needs. My times range from a quick walk for 15 minutes or a half hour or whole hour walk. I reside in Warwick, so I will cover up to 10 miles rather it be Warwick, Cranston, West Warwick, East Greenwich and some of the Providence areas.
Need a pet sitter?
My pet sitting services will fit your needs. Each case is different as we will assess that after we meet. I can come to your home after we meet, to feed them, walk them, or just sit to be their companion.
We can discuss over night stays or whatever your needs may be. Prices may vary depending on location, and amount of time required to stay. I have plenty of references upon request. My dogs provide licks and tail wags, just give me a call.
